that allows you to reach your character's fullest potential. There are really simple things that you can do to get to level 80 faster than most other players. It's actually the simple things that a lot of people neglect that end up costing them precious leveling time. Below you'll find some of the most simple and easy things to do that can help to save you hours of leveling time.
Consumables:
A lot of players use consumables for raids and instances but neglect to use them for leveling. Perhaps they feel they are too expensive or just don't think they are important unless you are grouping, but I can tell you these people have the wrong idea. If you are leveling, your character is likely geared in greens and needs all the help it can get. Be sure to use every type of consumable you can as they will help you do things like kill mobs faster, raise your hp and mana, help you heal yourself, and of course help you level faster, among other things. Common consumables are: potions, flasks, elixirs, scrolls, bandages, oils, food, and drink.
Professions:
If you are trying to level fast doing professions will only slow you down. If you really need money and want to do a profession while you are leveling then I suggest picking gather skills such as mining, herbalism, and skinning; however, be sure not to go out of your way to gather the nodes or to skin.
Gear:
Having
decent gear can reduce your leveling time by a lot, it's a lot easier to kill difficult mobs, and survive for that matter, when your gear is good. If you have the gold check the auction house for gear for your character and check again when your character advances every so many levels for gear to replace what you are wearing then.
